Correct, they are actually hanging against the wall beside the door to the room. It does look like a fridge, which (to Simone's point) makes them look a bit 'smaller' than they are, because we're expecting fridge proportions and not wall proportions.

I actually believe that they died quite differently from one another. Because the knot on her noose slipped around to the front and she was full suspended, the pressure on the carotids would be different from that of her boyfriend, who likely went unconscious in seconds. Hers was also probably no more than 30 seconds of consciousness, but I suspect she felt a lot more suffering than he did, with that noose knot pressing up against the underside of her jaw.

One of her shoes fell right beneath her foot, whereas the other is kicked back several inches, which I would interpret to mean that she was probably kicking her legs hard enough to dislodge them. The fella seems to have started out barefoot and saved himself the trouble.

Oh yes, you're right. It's weird looking at it again, realising that it is in fact a wall + not a fridge. Thanks for pointing it out, I wouldn't have noticed otherwise.

I'm wicked pissed about not getting better video. The guy who filmed that one had another one filmed uncensored as well as several photos, but after negotiating with him for hours, I only managed to get him DOWN to $750 US. Greedy fucking bandit. I've no problem paying journalists or bystanders for material and have before many times for this site. But I've never had one try to chisel me for more than 50 bucks American.

Anyway, it was an interesting and somewhat rare case. I'd have preferred to get more uncensored pics or some better videos. Sometimes better stuff does show up a day or two later in Indonesia, but I reckon this is gonna be the lot for this set.

It's an interesting question, how long the brain stays conscious, and how it correlates with limbs activity. It was at least two recent live suicide videos with the knot under the chin, and both had a minimum visible struggles. Looks like that position damages the spine paralyzing the body. Of course that doesn't mean brains go peacefully as well...

No, no, not most. Just some. A few, really. The majority of the stuff we post here is done without any interaction with the source. If I am particularly interested in a set or if the posted material is censored, for example, I'll sometimes approach the agency/photographer/blogger/whatever and inquire about additional or uncensored stuff. In such cases, they usually provide it to me gratis if I ask the right way. Sometimes they want a fee, which is usually very modest (10-20 bucks USD) and I don't mind paying a few shekels for exclusives if I'm invested time-wise in the set.

But it isn't common. And they very rarely ask the kind of money these Indonesian pirates tried to get off of me. Hell, I've bribed Cambodian cops for better photos and FAR less money before.

In any event, I've added an uncensored video which I got by contacting law enforcement directly, rather than paying off hack journalists.
