Why would you feel bad having to find people in a situation like that? I could see if you fucked up causing the decline in sales/profit but its a business. Sometimes they fail, nobody's fault.

despite facing difficulties because of the drop in sales, continued employment of 870 employees. Also stressed that the dismissals were motivated by fall of 70% in revenues.

Bit dractic step to hang yourself over that. it's not like everything is over so yea maybe he was murdered.

My guess it wasn't so much the firing of employees as it was the overall decrease in business that drove him to end it.
Yup, the end of a high flying life style was fast approaching. A 70 percent drop in revenue portends the end of most companies. Some people can't handle the riches to rags storyline.
