I been doing business in China for sometime, the government is very authoritarian. They people are fine with it as long as most people's living standard is improving.

Now media is biased, what you see on TV is usually a story pushing that media's agenda. So don't believe everything like, they kill prisoners solely for their organs.

I've been in the business world in China for many years and on that front can tell you that it's extremely complicated and very lucrative, but also 90% of foreigners will simply get destroyed trying to enter the market.

As to the law, it's corrupt as all hell. Police abuse their powers all the time, but since Xi Jingping came to power they have to be more subtle about it.

A police captain butchered a young woman in the streets and nothing happens until years later he belonged to the wrong faction that the current leader is purging.

If he had been a commoner he would be tried and executed. But he is a political elite, they most of the time have different treatment. It's rare one of them is executed, usually to make an example or as a scapegoat.

What you ask is extremely complicated and not something I can explain in a post.

Documents found with her showed that she recently had an abortion. Investigation uncovered her diary and revealed that she was having an affair with a mid-level manager in the company. He forced her to have the abortion and she became depressed and ended her life.

This is an old set from years ago, since a video of this collection is out, I might as well post it.

In 2009 a thug name Y.K. partner up with a local business man named Z.K. in Chongqing to begin a Ponzi scheme. They swindled over 10 million RMB (about 1.4 million USD) from their victims. Y.K. got greedy and decided to not to share the money with Z.K. He lured Z.K. outside of Chongqing to murder him. But Z.K. had brought his girlfriend with him. The girl was a local university student, she was bound and had her mouth tapped. Z.K. was placed in a metal cage and dropped into a reservoir. The girl was raped and strangled. Eventually Y.K. was arrested for another crime but his DNA matches DNA retrieved from the girl. He confessed to both murders and was sentenced to death in 2012.
