Thanks vestman and xpichwill for the info. I did some Google search and it's interesting that Chinese netizens on Zhihu discuss similar exhibitions in both Beijing Natural History Museum and the Zhejiang Museum of Natural History in Hangzhou. Maybe they have (had) similar collections, or it's a traveling exhibition.

Nope. it's not natural history museum. Should be some science museum I recall..

Shenzhen, woman was murdered in apartment complex known to stash mistresses. Close quartered death in bed.... I would say a very intimate death...full of passion.

The photographer surely liked her underwear and hairy puss ... so many photos.

I see these photos and always wonder about the back story ... what was going on behind the scenes? Did the killer get caught? Was he a party boss who walked away from it?

But here, most of all, I really wish I knew the aftermath story about the sweet puppy: given to a good home?

Akyan, any idea what the Chinese practices might be for a loyal doggy like this one? Are there animal shelters? Or are these lost pets just destroyed?

Poor puppy ...

during covid.... unattended pets are terminated while owners watch on home security feed. There's outrage... but this is China. People barely have any rights... much less animals.

I rather to put the pets on adoption shelter or give them to the owners relative

you never seen the videos of men with hazmat suits going into homes of people who have been sent to "quarantine" and beat their dogs to death with sticks. There's a couple of them, all indoor security cam linked to the owner's smart phones. So the owner literally got a motion detection notice and watched their dogs get slaughtered. One woman begged them not to kill her dog, through the speaker system, but they wacked it to death anyways.

So Im gona go with a no, animal shelter was not an option.

Because this lady was being "kept" in a rented apt far from his home or hers, and neighbors mind their own business, no one would come for this puppy to the apt? The cops just beat it to death and leave the body and the crime scene mess to the building manager to clean up?
