Her death pics remind me of Robert Kennedy's death pics. |

Re: Prominent Defense Attorney Assassinated in Paraguay
To be honest, Etsu and I have been trying to figure that out for the last 2 hours, LOL. I have no idea what's going on there. Etsu thinks she shit herself when she got shot, apparently with explosive diarrhea. I thought maybe she urinated and then rolled around in the grass after getting tagged and the grass stuck to the wet spot. She definitely wasn't shot anywhere below the waist, but several of the sites I got photos from chose to censor that part of the picture, so they're clearly trying to hide something. We just havent been able to decide on exactly what. |

Re: Prominent Defense Attorney Assassinated in Paraguay
Oof. That's a lot of energy dissipated into the pericardial region. A typical 9mil's carrying around 350 ft-lbs (475 J) at the muzzle. Three shots is survivable with good armor, but there's a very solid chance of lethal cardiac/pulmonary injury. Especially so with soft armors. The ratings for armors are in two parts. First, what caliber round it will defeat and at what velocity. This is the penetration rating. The second is the blunt force rating. This is the amount of energy transmitted through the vest to the wearer. These are rated by caliber also, but are defined by distance shot from, i.e. level IIIa armor will completely defeat a .44 magnum at so many feet away. I forget what the distances are. They're defined in an NIJ document for law enforcement. The most common armor worn by law enforcement is IIIa. Which is also the highest level of protection before you get into hard plated armor. All I'm saying is she has a greater chance of surviving with armor than without. But three 9mm rounds at point blank is going to cause some serious, possibly lethal, blunt force trauma. There's plenty of instances of soft armors "defeating" bullets but the wearer dying anyway from BFI. |
