During his time in death row he reach out to so many people, in a way changing their lives. He counselled the youth, getting many of them out of gangs and he expressed remorse to families of his victims. Should his death sentence have been comuted to life?

Manson was convicted after the California State Supreme Court rule Abolished it. When Williams was convicted, the death penalty was already back in California.

I was in the California National Guard the night they put Tookie down for his dirt nap and we were mobilized in case things got out of hand, fortunately the crowd died down quicker than Tookie did. The cooleset thing was the minute by minute detailed updates we were getting from inside the death chamber.

well 4 everybody who hates this o.g he actually was 1 of the founders of the crips he then tried to bring peace between the bloods n crips whilst in the pen n allso wrote several children's books witch were published and he won a award 4 telling young kids 2 stay away frm gangs so just because he was a stone cold g star he tried to make sum peace at the end of it they allso made a film on him called redemption good film if any1s interested

I do applaud his efforts for peace while in prison and is typical that he was a young black male who got into the gangs as a way out. OF course as it often does he got in deeper.

I am sure he changed his life in prison but that does not take away from all the violence and pain he caused to many people and their families. He paid the price with his life as he should have.
