Re: Napalm - The Smell of Victory
Damn it Bruce! Do we have to go over this again? Being called an "American" is short for a CITIZEN of the United States of America. It has to do with nationality, NOT geography. Just look at your passport, what does it say? Canadians are in the North American continent, but they do NOT call themselves "Americans" because they are CANADIANS (again, look at passport). If you go to France for six months are you suddenly a Frenchman? No. Again, glance at your passport to see what nationality you are. Shhhesh! |

Re: Napalm - The Smell of Victory
Hey guys, I just happened to stumble upon this forum, and thread, and read the comments. All respect to the vets of war. May they find peace someday. Btw, I was quite astonished by you guys.. the mexican guy may be not so smart, but he is right. An American is someone who has been born in America. These days, most people use it to refer to people from the U.S.A. But it is even in the name usa.. United States OF America. I have been born in Holland, and are therefore Dutch. Also I'm an European, because I'm in Europe. This way, Bruce is a Mexican, but also an American. People from Brasil are also Americans.. I really hope you guys are just fucking with him. If not, I really can't believe that intelligent people like yourselves (you seem intelligent) make such a mistake. Maybe it's the nationalism of the usa? |
