I wonder if it was just one psychopath, that was hunting true Redheads in Columbus, at the time

The narrator reminds me of a Hitchcock/Churchill mix.

# 10, I find it hard to believe they could not have found an identity for someone who had brain surgery. That wasn't that common in 1971, because they weren't very good at doing it. A scan through hospital records should show who she was.
She was found in a field, had brain surgery in the hospital then died in the hospital as a Jane Doe.
