Myanmar is one of the poorest countries in the world. If you have the money to wear an expensive watch, a T-shirt in English, attend private school, own a vehicle of any kind, take karate or - hell - stop searching for food long enough to attend a protest, then your family is one of the bad guys. There are no good guys in Myanmar. Only the mind-numbingly poor and the corrupt-as-hell connected crooks who steal international aid, enslave their people, run the military, etc. This girl is no hero.
