Re: Myanmar -- Teenage Woman Shot Dead During Protest
People will never understand that protests change shit, and only way to do it right is to be prepared to fight and overcome. If not you gonna just have casualties. Okay, okay, I know what sweetie wanted to do. Shout a bit, spray a bit, take few pics and go home for dinner. But she got reality check when that headshot went poppin'. Life is not a fairy tale. If you don't grow up you can die easily. |

Re: Myanmar -- Teenage Woman Shot Dead During Protest
The trouble is that protesting everything has become trendy in Western countries, where rich college kids do it mostly as a social outlet or to virtue signal to xir friends. These kids see those videos and get all inspired but they forget they're in a shitworld country with a military dictatorship. Same thing happened in Iran in 2012. Protests are for free countries. Bullets and bombs are what you need to free countries. Going out and getting yourself killed like an idiot accomplishes nothing. And by the way, Myanmar is the stick China uses to scratch their ass, so good luck with that democracy thing. |

Re: Myanmar -- Teenage Woman Shot Dead During Protest
I wasn't clear enough in my previous comment. Let me be clear: If this girl had access to Internet to watch the Western videos that inspired her lunacy, she was in the 1% of the 1% of her country, as are the rest of those kids. They are spoiled rotten and have never heard the word "No." They think it's all fun and games till the bullets fly. 99% of their peers don't even have enough to eat and zero education or hope of anything beyond planting rice in the mud the way their forebears have done for a hundred generations, or becoming a Buddhist monk and begging for food by the roadside. There are NO good guys in Myanmar. |
