Not a bad idea considering the number of DRers who battle addictions. If it could help sway a few people to make the right choices, then some good could come out of Mom's life story.

I just want to say to the people that have been supportive of me I really appreciate it!!! Especially to the people that have stuck up for me!!!! Grief is a bitch and just because she was an awful mother for the last 17 years doesn't mean that it makes me any less painful!!! I have been battling stage 4 cancer for 8 years. It will never go away and I will be on chemo for the rest of my life and stress and grief don't help, it actually can make the cancer worse!!! My mom was never there for me even after the doctor gave me 1-2 years. She was mad that I couldn't go to the hospital to see her when she broke her hip. It was during covid and I am severely immunocompromised and the doctor told me not to go especially since I have 5 kids, a husband, a grandson, and one on the way!!!
