Very odd. Believe it or not, that's not carbon monoxide poisoning. The skin turns a literal CHERRY RED and the gums too, the tongue swells purple and there would be traces of vomit and spittle foam on at least one of them if there was anything in the stomach.

The classic cherry red appearance is neither sensitive nor specific to carbon monoxide poisoning (I can get you the study if you’d like).

I’ve see plenty of CO poisoning and skin findings aren’t all that common. The classic symptoms of headache, nausea, and dizziness are about all you get if someone lives and makes it to see a doctor.

Vomiting can and does happen though, but again…not always.
