Re: Man Killed in Pitbull Attack

You wrote what I was thinking, must be telepathy.
The Mirror tabloid (England) is currently running a story about Pitt Bulls, and how any dangerous dog should be banned, I have a tiny Jack Russell that would bite if severely provoked, should he be euthanized for getting the hump with someone, or could it be that they deserved it.
Having just made that statement, I would not let a Pitt Bull loose unsupervised with kids, but only because every one and every thing has a breaking point, and kids unwittingly would push and push until the pooch got the hump and bit them.
I would be more inclined to euthanize the dog's owner.
Finally a sound mind. 21 gun salute for all tha pitties who have died due to poor raising habits on tha part of their owners

Re: Man Killed in Pitbull Attack

If you put that taco bell dog in a cage and poke it with sticks, kick it around and teach it to hate humans it would rip your face off too(after it barked you to death first tho lol).

Agreed. People are responsible for their pet's behaviors, not the pets

Re: Man Killed in Pitbull Attack

Who dares not to love this face?!?!?!?!
I have pitbulls and always have. They are the BEST dogs. Pitbulls, and dogs in general, dont just attack you for no good reason. This dude probably had it coming...

That's what happens when you fall asleep with peanut butter on your face...and your hands tied behind your back.

Re: Man Killed in Pitbull Attack

My neighbor has one, and he is the sweetest dog, he lets his 2 year old daughter play with him. Not all pits are bad. i believe it how they are raised.

Re: Man Killed in Pitbull Attack

I do! I despise the breed! Funny thing is....I've NEVER been attacked by a pitbull! As things would have it though, I have seen my share of them and what they are capable of! Trained or not! A friend of mine "disposed" of his after 5 years....he was devasted. His dog just turned one day, grabbed his arm and broke the skin, days later, broke through fence and killed neighbors dog, following week, another neighbor lost a pet! My friend NEVER taught this dog to be hostile.....it just snapped! There is a name for this event. Usually after 5 years, the pitbulls tendency to turn on it's owners goes up dramatically.
Wow, I have chow chows, all mine are nice, although one is deemed potentially dangerous by the humane society because he jumped the neighbors fence, and she said she was afraid for her life. he was a 6 month old pup. Last summer I caught her throwing rocks at them in our own yard. Of course they aren't going to like that. Now we have to pay 150.00 a year for a special permit, and he has to be on a tie down in the yard, and I have to be outside with him, and have a muzzle on when we leave the yard. He has never bit anyone, and he is very nice loving dog.
