PHILIPPINES - On January 3, 2019, an unidentified man was found shot to death in Barangay San Juan, Bacon District, Sorsogon City, Sorsogon.

Translated news report:

THE IDENTITY OF A DEAD BODY WHO WAS FOUND IN BACON DISTRICT, STILL BEING IDENTIFIED BY SORSOGON CITY PNP

SORSOGON CITY—The authorities still have no clue regarding the identity of a lifelss body of a man who was found in Barangay San Juan, Bacon District, Sorsogon City.

According to Barangay Chairman Serapio Ducog of San Juan, M.C.D. (woman) found a male body on a drainage in the said place that morning.

According to witness, his hands were tied, his face was covered with masking tape, and he was only wearing shorts.

The barangay captain emphasized that the victim was not a resident of that place. So, he informed PNP Sorsogon about the incident.

The authorities estimated that the man was between 30 and 40 years old and was 5'6" tall. He also had gunshot wounds to different parts of the body.

As of now, the authorities are still looking for witnesses who might have witnessed the crime while continuing to identify the said victim.
