Man Dies After Shoving Shoehorn Up His Ass
This man probably wanted to do something very exciting, and I guess he thought it would be a good idea and fun shoving a shoehorn up his ass. It wasn’t. The man suffered serious rectal trauma and bled to death. The yellow liquid seen on the floor is serum which was separated during clotting, also known as serum separation, and the black mass is a large formed clot. The main pool has dried up and taken a darker colour as the serum is forced out.  Fig 1. A large collection of blood next to the decedent was associated with self-inflicted rectal trauma from the shoe horn that was found next to the body.  |
