Re: At Least 30 Crisped, Jakarta Match Factory
Wow. Yes there were at least 3 kids. Most workers were women. Front door was usually kept locked. Fire started from back of building. Majority of the bodies found at front door. Was it a flash over? In the article it says one man heard about the fire and rushed back to try and save his wife, only to find the building burned to the ground. For it to burn these people to beyond recognition...because I guess if it was a “slow” moving fire, villagers would have been able to help get them get out.... Needless terrifying death. Shows the immense need for strict safety rules and regulations. But as always, owners just want to spend as little money as possible to protect their workers. It’s disturbing what greed does. https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&sour...61594844930822 |

Re: At Least 30 Crisped, Jakarta Match Factory
I find it weird how people burnt alive become stuck in the position they died. Intead of falling down, the fire must do something to the muscles....... Anyone know? I always remember that nightclub fire where they were all stuck at the doors trying to get out, in the same positions. Horrific.
