Elliot Sadler: NASCAR Pocono 2010

Massive head first crash

This is said to be the hardest hit in NASCAR history

Im not sure if that is true, but it is for sure a huge hit

The fact that Sadler was not seriously injured or killed is amazing

Even more amazing is the fact that the only angle of the crash that ESPN got with its millions of cameras was this accidental shot.

World Champion in 1996 and winner of 22 GP's, he was son of double World Champion Graham Hill.

Chaos at the British GP at Silverstone 1975 when a heavy hail storm sent cars flying off the track. Following the storm only five cars were running at the end. The race was declared over on lap 56, meaning that some of the cars that had gone off were classified as points scorers. Carlos Pace, who was one of the crashers in his Brabham BT44B was classified in second position with another, Tyrrell driver Jody Scheckter classified in third.

NICE!!! There are very few of these (Indianapolis Motor Speedway crashes) that I either don't remember or have never seen, and this definitely falls under both of those categories. Anxiously awaiting more gems like this!

Love some of the old one's that are on my 4 decades of IMS collection I have, that show the drivers wrecking, climbing out, and then others crashing into them as they are getting out. I don't know if you or anyone has posted the Mel Kenyon one like that, but it definitely is one of those one's you watch and say "Ohhhh Fuck!" as it happens!
