This is Ken Wharton again but two years before his fatal crash. This is the 1955 International Trophy at Silverstone and he is racing a 2.5 Vanwall 4, he suffered burns to his arm and legs. Ken's best F1 result was at his debut race in 1952 at the Swiss GP when he finished 4th. He won the 1954 Reims 12 hours in 1954.  ·  · |
