The aftermath of Douglas Revson's fatal F3 crash at Ring Djursland in Denmark 1967, his body is shielded by track workers as they await medics. Douglas was Peter Revson'a bother who perished in a testing crash in 1974. They are buried together at the Ferncliff Cemetery, New York.

A heavy crash for John Watson in his Brabham BT42 at the 1973 Race of Champions at Brands Hatch. The second photo shows John being cut out of the car.

These photos might not look much but they show the aftermath of Germany's worst motorsport crash. Helmut Niedermayr spun into the crowd during a race at the Grenzlandring 1952, killing at least 13 spectators and injuring 42. He had finished second at Le Mans a fews weeks prior to this race. Helmut took part in one F1 race, the German GP in 1952.

Don McTavish close up pics Both of his legs and his right arm were sheared off when he was hit by the other car, his left arm was hanging out the window before he was hit by the car and after he hit the wall You can also see that McTavish is either unconscious or dead right before he is smashed into Im hoping he was already dead and felt no pain, these pictures seem to indicate to me that he was in fact already dead after hitting the wall RIP |

Wilson Fittipaldi loses control of his Copersucar-Fittipaldi FD01 at the Argentinian F1 GP of 1975. Wilson is the older brother of two times F1 Champion Emerson. He raced in 38 GPs scoring three points with a best result of 5th at the German GP in 1973. |
