I have a friend with a rendering plant. They process roadkill, slaughter house discards, etc. and turn it into dog food. They have a "Mauling" screw that handles large carcases such as cows and pigs that grinds everything down for process. I have met many of the workers and I wouldn't be surprised if a human or two hasn't been processed

A couple of years ago here in georgia we had a guy killed when he fell into a grinder at the ralston purina plant not far from atlanta, don't know that this is it but same equipment.
