Re: Home Invasion Turns Deadly
That's just an excuse. People are far too dependent on motor-vehicles these days. I walk & bike to every place I can. If the distance is too far, I'll use public transportation, mostly city buses, but I do use the tram on occasion. If it's absolutely necessary, I'll carpool. Owning cars for personal use is a luxury and convenience, not a necessity. :) |

Re: Home Invasion Turns Deadly
you must live in the city. if you are not a city dweller a car is very much a necessity. public transportation is not readily available in rural areas. try putting a family of 5, one a baby, on a bike to go grocery shopping 20 miles away. yes cars are a necessity for most families if you are not in the city.

Re: Home Invasion Turns Deadly
Nope, I started out in the city, but the town I live in has has a population of aprox. 1,500 residents. I've been around here for about 4 years , and there is a shuttle bus that will pick you up right at your doorstep and drop you off right where you please. It's not free ($4 one way) , but it's very reliable, so long as you give prior warning (24hrs) It's called the CCAT. The towns are going to great lengths on this project with the hope of reducing our staggering %19 unemployment rate. Now it would be nice for the meth-heads to do their part and stop shooting up long enough to pass a UA |
