Re: Holy Moly!!!
It is foam. it is most common in drownings, but can be seen elsewhere too. I did a fast search and found this: "11. A fine, white, froth or foam in the airways and exuding from the mouth and nostrils is characteristic of drowning. It is a vital phenomenon and indicates that the victim was alive at the time of submersion. However, similar foam is found in deaths from other causes, e.g. heart failure, drug overdose, and head injury." You can read the whole article here, but it is on drowning, not specifically on foam. |

Re: Holy Moly!!!
Number 17.......... I would like to think that was a mix up pic and she's still alive. She looks too normally colored and relaxed to be dead. I'll just think that. such a sad shame for the rest. I mean, death comes to us all and when it's our time, it's our time no matter the method of moving on, but still. Hate to be the one who has to check out violently. I can only pray hard that my Exit Stage Right will be in my sleep or I'm totally unaware and not expecting it and it happens so fast I don't even realize it. |
