Re: Heroin Overdose & Opioid Related Deaths from the United States [Big Collection]
On May 2, 2008, a 51 year old man in the Salt Lake City suburb of Provo parked his truck near a church where a drug-addiction recovery session was scheduled to commence. He took his 12-Gauge and shot himself through the mouth. He was struggling with a harrowing heroin addiction that began after the untimely death of his wife a year earlier. The photos were originally posted at DR in 2008. But I didn't find the backstory on there. |

Here's a mirror. I was wondering why she was giving him mouth-to-mouth and after looking this up, I learned mouth-to-mouth can revive overdose victims if narcan is not available. |

Re: Heroin Overdose & Opioid Related Deaths from the United States [Big Collection]
In 2001, a mother came home to find her 17-year-old son had overdosed on heroin. He survived but was in a coma for six weeks. He awoke blind with no function in his arms or legs and couldn’t speak. Since then, his mother has become his full-time caretaker. A video showing the aftermath of a heroin overdose survivor by the New York Times. |

If we would stop trying to save these people when they od the entire problem would work itself out quickly. It is a self solving problem if we let it work. Pretty soon they are all dead and I no longer am denied pain pills when I need one. Government trying to solve a problem that is self solving if they would stop meddling in it and stop sending EMT'S when someone takes too much. How many years have they been fighting this and not winning. Winning is when we let this work out on its own.

Actually you can patent a plant, I had over 20 patents at one time on plants. Propagate without a license and I sue you and win.

Mouth to mouth isn't used for revival, it's used to manually keep oxygen transport going so vital organs don't become damaged until proper resuscitation can be administered. You should always give mouth to mouth regardless of what is or isn't available, it could be the difference between full recovery or brain death. |

Ah I see, thanks. I only said that because it was the title to the article by the Huffington Post. But I should take every news article with a grain of salt.
