Woman Hanged Herself While Minding the Shop

24 year old Sinta Nurlaili was managing the beauty salon where she worked while her boss was out of town. This morning the boss called to see how business was going and no one answered the phone. Concerned that her employee had overslept or something had happened, the owner called a neighboring shopkeeper and asked her to go check on the salon.

When she was unable to gain access, she called the police who forced the door, entering to find the young woman on the floor in a partial suspension hanging.

Police liason submitted the following report on their police blotter:

*I. Facts
*A. * On Saturday, August 31, 2024 at about 11:43 pm, at Jln. Cut Nyak Dien, Subulussalam Village, Simpang Kiri District, Subulussala City, in the RA Beauty Beauty Care clinic shop, a female corpse has been found with * Identity Name Sinta Nurlaili, Labuah June 11, 2000 (24 years old), Address Dusun Ulul Falu, Labuhan Jaya Village, South Tapuah District, Seumelu District. *

- Age : 29 Years
- Gender : Female
- Occupation: Shopkeeper
- Address : Jln. Cut nyakdien Village Subulussalam Kec. Simpang Kiri Subulussalam City

*C. The chronology of the discovery of the corpse based on the description of witnesses
- Around 11.43 WIB, The Owner (Beauty Center) asks for help from Sdri. Nurlianti through telephone connection to wake up Sdri. Sinta Nurlaili who is an employee of a Beauty Clinic.
- After several times Alone. Nurlianti woke up the victim by banging on the door of a pushed iron bar but there was no response, then Sdri. Nurlianti contacted the Beauty Center Owner to inform that there was no response from within.
- Around 13.08 WIB, the Owner of (Beauty Center) contacted Subulussalam Police Department to check the Beauty Clinic.
- The Police arrived at the scene around 13.00 WIB, because the access through the front door of the scene was locked from the inside, then the Police entered through the back door and found a female body which was in front of the door of the back room with a condition of sitting, knotted and tied around her neck was a colored electrical cord (Yellow Red) secured to the ventilation of the door of the room.
- Subulussalam Police Department performed the scene investigation and forcefully opened the front door of the iron barbed iron to facilitate the transport of the dead body to the Subulussalam City District General Hospital for examination.

*D. * Around 14.31 pm, the Ambulance car carrying the dead body arrived at the morgue of Subulussalam RSUD Kota

*F. * At 14:42 WIB The corpse was brought from the scene to Subulussalam City Hospital, External Examination Result performed by Doctor Examiner An. dr. Ridwan, the result is as follows:
- bruise behind right ear
- cable wrapped around around the neck
- Cable strap connected twice the circumference
- partially healed cutting wounds on my left and right wrist, 15cm
- livor mortis present and fixed in lower extremities
- Scratch wound on right foot
- Bruising and livor present on both legs
- Panties and shorts soaked with urine
- Pregnancy test determined negative
- Estimated time of death is no more than 12 hours

*II. Steps to be made
1. Doing Monitoring and Pulbaket
2. Taking Note Of The Witnesses
3. In coordination with Subulussalam Police Station Reskrim
4. Reporting to the Leaders.

*III. NOTES*
1. It is known that the victim who is an employee in the clinic (Beauty Center) is staying alone because the owner of the clinic (Beuty Center) is currently in Medan (North Sumatra).
2. Based on the statement of the SRI witness. Nurlianti, the last victim communicated on Friday, August 30, 2024 at about 15:00 WIB, the Beauty Center Clinic was last operating on Friday, August 30th, 2024 Starting from 08:00 WIB - 17:00 WIB.
3. Victim's families are on their way to Subulussalam City from Simelue District.

The story is actually unclear whether she tried slitting her throat or a previous hanging (likely with a thin ligature), but in either case the result is basically the same. She was a ticking time bomb.

Her life must have been pretty miserable. The self mutilation thing is a big sign of being unhappy inside and having no other outlet.

found the info on FB that she had a kid she left in her hometown to work in this beauty salon
and the man in the picture is her boyfriend but not the father of the kid

The picture with her (presumably) boyfriend says "Hello kid, is it okay to be a totally asshole like this?"

I don't know the full story but I think that's an instagram account from her family or friend, and from the wording seems like they blame the boyfriend for her death.

So I guess it's probably about relationship problem.
