May 22, 2016 my fiancee passed away from a fentanyl OD. He was 34 years old. I think about him everyday and struggled with my own addiction after he passed. I'm over a year clean now. When I see other addicts I see myself, I see him, I see a person in pain and struggling with mental health issues.

Recovery is possible and I'm so sorry for all the families that lost a loved one.

The gummy bears defeat the purpose of the THC. You get the munchies, then you want more gummy bears.

Majority of the pictures from the hospital bed makes them look like average people.

Why is heroine such a big issue for middle class white Americans ?.

Here in the UK the middle class struggle with powder cocaine.

I cannot take anything aspirin based which includes all NSAIDs, Motrin, Naproxin. I'll be in the ER in a heartbeat writhing on the floor in so much pain it feels like my abdomen is being drilled.

I cannot even take Pepto-Bismol b/c it has an aspirin
relative in it, Bismuth subsalicylate.

I have a pharmacy of meds I cannot take, it's crazy. Especially any of the new meds due to the side effects. Lyrica along with my Bi-Polar1, ADD & PTSD keep me up for for weeks at a time and most nights anyway and I tried to run over my DH in 2011. I was in the throws of a Psychotic break as I kept my horrible Lyrica hoping I would fall asleep. I took 18 b/c I knew it would not kill me as I researched it first. Did I sleep? NO! I turned into a rattlesnake.

My shrink gives me adderal 30 and 1mg xanax. He started me on a couple low dose mood stabilizers which I need to toss in the rubbish, they make me very suicidal.

Still have my chronic nerve pain, Fibro, CFS, Tarsal tunnel in both feet, pinched nerves in neck and back, DDD, Herniated disk which I will always have and will always need narcotics as I was told.
Right now I have no life due to the pain being so bad b/c I am in between Pain docs and got a letter over the weekend telling me I can make an appt with a new PM, if they accept me. I just pray he is as good as my first and only PMD. I was with him for 8 years and he is in Georgia.
I took Hydromorphone (Dilaudid) 8mgx4. Not sure how South Carolina Pain Clinics work though.

Nothing worse than nerve pain, especially if you are dumb enough like me to have nerve decompression surgery on one foot and then the surgery is a failure, and no doc will touch the other foot which I wouldn't let any one do anyway. I found out about the Fibromyalgia after the surgery and my Podiatrist said if he had known I had Fibro he would have never touched my foot.
My former Podiatrist was recently sentenced to 20 years federal for selling oxycodone rx's for over 500$, he got real greedy and he was a very good podiatrist and surgeon
I was in such constant pain last week I did try and od, well I did and almost died. Spent 4 days in ICU.

Pain is pure evil and being denied pain relief is even more evil.

Chronic/Acute nerve pain is the worst pain I can have.
I was in a fire in 2012 and was so lucky to live about 5 miles from The Joseph M Still Burn Unit, which is the best burn unit in the country. They did such a good job I can only see the scars and I have no pain where I was burned.

I, too struggled with an everyday coke addiction from 1991-2005.I had a real good job which honored me every year and I got to travel and teach my art to other artists who worked for Mercantile Co. Salons through out the country. I loved my job but was self medication due to my trauma I had already endured and also self medicating b/c of all the pain. I had no pain when I had my prince. Only when I had to re-up.
