Re: Heroin Overdose & Opioid Related Deaths from the United States [Big Collection]
the best nsaids i've had are lodine and indomethacin. Lodine are really good for lower back pain. Doctors are being told not to give opiate based meds out for back pain anymore. They hardly work on it anyhow. There are better options. Much better options.

So many young people. Fuck. I have been vocal about addicts in the past but after working with them for years now, I realise that ALL start out like everybody else, it's the choices they make later. So many of these people wouldn't even fit the stereotype of drug user as many looked clean, strong and fit even. Such a shame.

I remember getting Lodine back in the day, but haven't heard anything about it for a while. Are you in the States? We don't always have the best meds.

Re: Heroin Overdose & Opioid Related Deaths from the United States [Big Collection]
I'm so glad this shit wasn't mainstream when I was younger. We did coke, crack, opium, ecstasy, weed with formaldehyde, prescription pills galore, etc simply because we were bored and would have multi drug-fueled parties every week. We would try anything we could get our hands on just to get a better high. Luckily for me I have a very high tolerance to drugs and medicines so I could quit anything cold turkey. At the same time it took a lot more drugs to get the same high my friends would - and that is a scary scenario. I realized all my friendships growing-up became based on getting our fix in. My friends couldn't enjoy anything without being high. I got out of those friendships and quit the lifestyle and moved onto a career while watching all my friends stay stuck in their high-school jobs. I had two of these childhood friends commit suicide, one became a major coke dealer and the other had mental issues from his drug abuse. I used to have a great memory but I struggle to remember something I was just told a minute ago. I have trouble focusing a lot at work. I developed asthma around 25 and I get bronchitis every winter, I know I damaged my lungs from the stupid shit I did. my joints have all gone to shit too, I'm sure drugs were to blame for that. Weed was our daily drug, given to us by my friends uncle who had a grow farm so we had free daily access to this basic drug - but it was never enough. There has been a bunch of drug-related deaths in the small town I grew-up in. I'm very thankful I got out when I did because I know this would have been something I would have done simply because it was cool to do with my buddies. We'd have people bring us shit to try without us knowing the names of them or even questioning them on what they were. I regret all of the shit we did and to this day can't fathom why we took the risks we did to obtain some of these drugs in some very sketchy neighborhoods. Seeing these pictures is heartbreaking, not of the deaths to these individuals but for the pain that these people caused their loved ones. I couldn't imagine putting my family through such pain and suffering and I feel guilty for what I did in my younger years because this could have easily been me. I was selfish and careless with my life while I should have been thinking about my family. I skipped visiting my parents to stay with my druggy friend when visiting from out of country. I would do anything to take that specific day back because my dad wasn't around much longer thanks to all the damage done to him by Agent Orange. Stay clean people, nothing is worth your life/health or the pain on your loved ones. I pray that none of my kids get into anything but also know that unlike my parents, I will be able to tell the signs of drug use. I got away with it so many times using the excuse of cat allergies...that's how naive and trusting my parents were of me. Be mindful of your family and as parents even more mindful and pay attention to who they hangout with. Keep your kinds involved in activities/sports, the busier they are the less likely they'll turn to drugs to pass time. Most of all talk to your kids, ask about their day, see what they are up to and thinking about. With all that said I don't have pity on those that took these risks. I wouldn't want anyone to pity me for my stupidity. Everyone of these people knew the risks before taking the dive - especially today where information is always at our fingertips. Feel sorry for the families but not the fool. Today everyone wants to put the blame onto someone else without looking into the mirror. I changed the man in the mirror and took responsibility for my actions. I just hope my stupidity didn't take too many years off my life so I can see my children have kids of their own before I go. |

Re: Heroin Overdose & Opioid Related Deaths from the United States [Big Collection]
Thank you FDA, you suck and care nothing about America. All y'all want is more drugs and death and people like me in legitimate pain to have to beg and look for pain doc after pain doc to rx the correct dose of meds. The war is really on pain patients and how evil we are for wanting to live a halfway decent life. Sometimes death is better than being in constant pain. If we were not treated like this there would be less people dying from fentanyl laced drugs and OD's from buying street drugs. Like Narcan, an one can purchase an adulteration kit to test and see what drugs are in the street drugs. I mean no disrespect for the dead in this thread, just had to vent. |

All the useless gutter trash cleaning itself up. Good! One less worthless piece of shit removed from society. |
