When I went in to do the surgery it turns out the cancer's not quite gone and is in her ribs now. She's in terrible pain from all the muscle tissue I had to remove between her ribs. IT'S FUCKING AGONY TO BREATHE. And guess what? She can't take the morphine pump home anymore, thanks to dumbfucks like you. So now who's going to take her kids to school while she's in the hospital so she can get her pain under control? Who's paying for those two nurses to sign off on every dose?

4. Get over yourselves. You're nothing special.

Yep, if you want to lose sympathy for drug addicts, go into the medical field. How many patients do I see week after week coming in to get "clean" only to leave and go right back to it. Hell, I've had patients overdose in their bathroom.

We are an oncology floor, but most of our beds are taken up by drug addicts looking to score. F that shit.

That’s how it started for me, car accident, pain management 90 10 mg hydrocodone,90 200mg carispodol(soma) and 60 80mg OxyContin a month, started taking more, had 4 doctors in three different states, Louisiana,Mississippi and Texas giving the same scripts and I would also go about two weeks without nothing! I lived in Baton Rouge Louisiana and in 2005 hurricane Katrina hit sending all of New Orleans residents and the heroin right into my neighborhood.I was helping out this couple who was dishomed, they were heroin dealers! All it took was the husband convincing me to just smoke a little and it would take away my DTs and is practically the same opioid. In two years time I lost everything, and was that stigmatized “ junkie” ! I’m 12 years clean now,I will literally not take a fucking midol for pms! So don’t ever go down the heroin road, don’t ever go astray from sobriety! I’m thankful to be alive, my liver in tact, some mild stomach issues, and forgiveness for my hurricane I caused in the lives of my parents, husband,kids,and friends. So keep up the good fight!

JoseQuinones AS A DOCTOR, I'm appalled at your ignorance. For someone in the medical field, you made yourself look like an ass on here. Say all that to someones family that lost a child to drugs. I haven't ever been an addict myself, but I have watched smart, amazing, kind-hearted people make the mistake of trying it once and getting hooked. and thats exactly what it is, a MISTAKE. like you entering the medical profession. My father is a doctor of internal medicine.. Has been since 1978, and you will never be half the doctor he is. Medicine and most doctors now are greedy pieces of shit. my father had to go to Italy to even get into med school back then, even with the best grades. He had to learn Italian and medical school at the same time SO you coming on here saying what you did is a joke. So really, you get over yourself, your nothing special, doctor or not.
