I imagine because it hurts like hell. They may have been trying to get information from him and start cutting things you will not die right away from but hurts a lot. There is a video of this guy getting his face cut off. I do not remember if his ears were cut off so this is all conjecture on my part and I will not verify most likely. It was probably one of the last ones I watched except for the shark attacks. I cannot take the torture ones  |
