Woman in Honduras hanged herself this weekend. Postmortem images are all censored, but I did manage to tap her social media and get a few antemortems.

Been traveling most of the last two weeks so haven't been able to post here. Have a bit of a backlog I'll try to update as I get time.

For starters, here's a young widow in Padabaho, Indonesia who hanged herself last week. Not a lot of details with this one, but a couple of decent pics.

Here's a young couple from India whose families objected to their relationship. They left a note requesting to be buried together and then hanged themselves on the same tree branch. Their bodies were discovered the morning after they ran off together.

The postmortem photo is partially censored and the video basically sucks. But it's lean times for hangers and I did rustle up some antemortems which is frequently tough with Indian hangers.

Here's a somewhat 'fresher' one from Jembrana, though regrettably censored. Oftentimes uncensored versions show up a day or two later from Indonesia, but it's hard to say.

Anyway, this was a Yuwanitha Gayatri, a teenager who hanged herself in the doorway of her bedroom after a fight with her parents. She was discovered within an hour of last being seen alive.

Despite the pics being censored, the news agencies reported on the scene with the usual level of detail for Indonesia:

The girl had been cut down when the police arrived, but photos taken by the neighbors showed that she died in a partial suspension hanging on her knees. Police reported that she had hanged herself with an orange scarf that was 90 cm long. The distance from the knot to the floor was 234 centimeters. A small stool that she used was still at the location beside a puddle of urine.

She was barefoot and wearing a black tshirt with the phrase "Nusasakti 1946" printed on it, as well as black trousers.

The external visual examination report indicated that her tongue was protruding, saliva was extensively noted on her tshirt, and her pants were wet with urine. No injuries were found on her body except the ligature marks on her throat.

Indian university student, Kanti, hanged herself in a hostel room in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.

22yo. Her family suspects murder, as always. But autopsy and forensics came back with suicide and no signs of violence.

She had also visited a priest earlier in the week. Her family says it was surely because she was afraid of her boyfriend, but most people (especially Catholics) know that it was very likely due to depression/mental health issues.

Young woman, believed to be aged around 18, was found hanged in the Kaushambi district of Uttar Pradesh, India. According to a news report, "since her feet were on the ground, a possibility of murder is being raised".
