19yo housewife allegedly hanged herself in Indonesia. Cut down photos only.

According to neighbors and the police, the woman and her husband were having a loud row earlier in the evening. Some time later the husband came running out of the house screaming for help and bleeding heavily from the hand.

According to him, he had gone in to take a nap after the argument and when he got up some time later, his wife was hanging in the living room. He tried to cut the ligature with a pair of scissors but couldnt get it done, so he got some sort of knife to cut through it. He succeeded, but cut his hand badly in the process.

The forensic investigation indicated that the woman had no injuries other than bruises from the ligature and a small bruise beside one eye. The man's injuries seemed consistent with his story.

The scene investigation noted that the woman's shirt was bloodstained, though the blood on her shirt (and spattered on the floor) were determined to be from the husband's hand injury.

She was also noted to have other characteristics of hanging, such as a swollen tongue (abutting the back of her teeth but not protruding) and pants soaked with urine.

An English girl hanged herself from her closet whenever her mother left her alone in the house, upon discovering her the girl was rushed to a hospital, she passed away from her injuries the following morning.
Her biological father had died when she was young and she was alleged to have been bullied at school.

An American girl (possibly Oklahoman) called 911 and informed them that she was about to hang herself from a tree.
The authorities arrived approx 12 min and cut her down and initiated CPR 8 minutes later, she passed away from her injuries a week later.

20 year old girl was found hanged in a brothel where she (presumably) worked. She was on her knees in a partial suspension, hanging from the ceiling fan with a cloth ligature.

Cops worked it as a suicide, but her family insists that she was murdered and the hanging staged.

Not that murder isn't impossible in a brother, of course. But their main bone of contention was bruising on her body.

No autopsy was performed and since the cops wrote it up as a suicide, the family was allowed to take the body home to prepare it for burial. When they were cleaning her up (the closeup photos of bruising are all provided by the family, not the cops), they noticed 'suspicious' bruising on the back of her neck, on one knee, and on her back itself.

To my eye, most of that bruising looks like typical postmortem bruising/livor mortis, but they are claiming it means she was beaten and calling for more investigation.

Side note: The more observant among you may note that in the photo of her knees, she is wearing different pants from the cropped image where she is still hanging, but in the neck photo you can see the shirt is the same. The images are not faked and are verified to be part of the same set, but she had soiled her denim shorts when she asphyxiated, so the family changed them and cleaned her up before taking the photos. Not sure why they left her same shirt on, but I assume it wasn't as messy as the shorts.
