Rare indeed. Pictures like this usually surface from sources in central/south america or southeast asia. This one was part of a presentation of 3 uncommon asphyxial deaths in the Irkutsk region in Russia.

The other cases were very interesting, too. Espcecially the "sewer-man". What an idiot. Just hilarious.

Great find
Autopsy report actually says that "sewer-man" was a homeless alcoholic and he was living in this sewer with his girlfriend. Very romantic. They think he died accidentally after a trip to the nearest shop selling vodka being drunk as fuck.
Regarding 2 girls, they mentioned that they both had periods and were not a virgins for more than 3 weeks at the moment of death. I have no ideas why they decided to include this into the report

That's forensic postmortem, and to be expected. They take notes of everything just because it's there.

A possible leads for investigation, however weird they can look.

For example, having their periods in sync can be an argument for those girls living together for some time.
