23 year old hanged herself in her home. No antemortems yet, but a short video and a decent photo of an alternate angle. I know it isn't exactly uncommon, but I always wind up feeling a little bad for them when they piss all over their own floor. Somehow seems to heighten the indignity of it all even further.  |

This is the first hanging from a curling iron cord I've ever seen. Her choice of it makes me think this was one of those impulsive suicides that may not have happened if her day had gone differently. Her cluttered little room was a sad place for her to die.

Curling iron cords aren't all that common. I do have a rather extensive autopsy report of a female convicted murderess in the US who used a curling iron cord to hang her self in her prison cell a few years back. But other than her and this girl I can't bring any to mind.

Most of these girls are actually good looking and if they were born in the right place, probly they'll be trophy wifes of some rich geezer elsewhere. Instead they threw away their lives, mostly because their unbearable living conditions...now that's fucking sad  |

That would’ve only worsened their anguish. You know how poorly old rich bastards treat their precious trophy wives in the US, Canada & UK. I can only imagine how such a marriage would play out in the third world, given the wealth disparity there. |
