On 18th December 2017, 30 year old medical student, Kelly Cristina Gonçalves Cardoso, was found dead. She was found hanged on the porch of the house where she lived. At first it was believed that the Kelly had committed suicide. A forensic doctor stated that the marks on her body + how the rope was, indicated that someone had killed her. Her boyfriend Alexandre Aguero Aquino, was the main suspect. Neighbours had heard the couple arguing the previous night. Kelly had already made several police reports against Alexandre as he was violent.       |

I believe this is in India. A 22 year old woman hanged herself in her parents home while the family was away. Appears to be a suicide but police seem to be investigating if she was harassed into doing it.

This is in Bangladesh. A 20 year old woman was found hanged in her home. She was married a year and half ago and there are claims that her husband's family was abusing her over the dowry. Police are investigating.
