The Itabuna woman has an odd noose. It looks like a hangman ' s noose, but the running end is extremely long - almost to her knees. Other than that, it looks like a good noose. Wonder if she tied it? There are two ropes and they both seem to be secured to the ceiling. The right hand rope looks like two thinner ropes tied together. I think she chose the stronger rope to hang herself with.

I think she tied the noose at what looked like the right height and didn't have a knife to cut off the extra. I wonder if she had to climb that ladder to put the noose on? Is that a pallet she's standing on? Her feet are through the slots.

A very beautiful woman. A boy dead. A great pity.
