Okay, breaking up the last several pages of reposts, jibber-jabber about 3-year-old fakes and questions that have been answered 400 times already. Try not to expand this thread too much without actually posting pictures, guys, as the last one got shut down for getting too big. Every single question you could ever have about hangings has already been answered somewhere in this thread. Use the search function rather than jamming up the thread with repetition, please.  Anyway, quality on these shots isn't spectacular, but Indonesia is pretty hit or miss. This one is a 22 year old young woman who hung herself in her bathtub during a bout of postpartum depression. She had a three-month old baby that she had already tried to kill four times before her parents took it away from her and sent it to live safely with relatives. Less than a week after the kid was shunted off to safety, though, she decided she'd had enough of all of it. Happened last week.  ·  ·  · |

Two dead females, looks like they both hung themselves. Maybe mum found the daughter dead so hung herself after. Sorry no info.

I read that case (with far fewer images) on a Thai website a few days ago, but the story wasn't super-clear, since Thai is often a tough translation. If I recall (and understood correctly), I believe that is a grandmother and a young grandaughter (like 9 or 10). I believe that the child hung herself on accident while playing under the grandmother's care and the grandmother hung herself in response, out of guilt and remorse. |
