The similarities between Von Hagen's and Fragonard's work are too eerie to pass off as mere coincidence-esp the horse pose.He MUST have seen it.Goes to show-nothing new under the sun.
I actually think Fragonard's work is superior.He didn't have modern chemicals to work with,and you really get a sense of the musculature and vein systems.
