27 year old Arabella, a professional cab driver in SPS, Honduras, accepted a fare from a customer using the InDrive app to take them to Dos Caminos, Villanueva around 11:30 PM on Tuesday night.

About 90 minutes later, a driver called the police to report that a car was abandoned on the side of the road. When police arrived, they found Arabella dead in the driver's seat. She had been shot once through the forehead at point blank range.

Police are investigating through the InDrive app, but thus far have no strong leads or suspects. Arabella had driven a taxi and serviced rideshare apps for the last 8 years. She had no criminal record, no trouble with the police, no known gang affiliation, and her colleagues said she was sweet and easygoing to work with.

I wouldn't accept a call for a taxi ride that late if i was a female cab driver in Honduras. Around one a week gets murdered because most cab rides are cash-based work and the ongoing gang extortion shit going on.
