Yesterday (26th July 2018) in Samdech Preah, a 14 year old boy died.

**The article only states that he was electrocuted. There's no mention of by what or why or where. Was he playing in the sand + was electrocuted by something he was using? Any one have a clue or can find some info as I'm stumped?!

looked like a flood or mudslide victim. seen one like that hereabouts. subdivision homes located right beside a big mountain and rain brought down erosion and covered houses as well as electrocuting them with power lines. coroner says they were probably dead already when they were covered by slick mud

I reckon they used the sand to put out the flames. I still see sand buckets occasionally in foreign shops etc instead of an extinguisher.

exactly. we have barrel of sands at many gas stations in the rural area too, must have been used to put out the flames.

two stories tell that he used a wired (usb) light bulb to plug into his pgone and the shook it. one story tells he got shocked next by that usb cable and the other tells the lightbulb exploded in his hand so he was electrocuted and cut his hand. I think that's impossible. Maybe he was digging in the sand and hit a cable and the family wants to blame the phone or usb light bulb manufacturer?

Then you've never bought a cheap usb cable from home bargains lol, i got a bad shock off one. One set on fire. Never bought those pound ones again. There's an app called Wish. Man I have bought some dodgy fucking crap off there. They don't give a shit about customer safety the people who make this crap.

it's a common misconception to bury electrocuted people in earth in the hopes that the current will drain from the victim's body.
