A private employee died tragically due to electrocution while switching on the transformer in Magaron police station area of the district. After death due to electrocution, the body hung on the transformer itself. As soon as the news of the employee's death spread in the village, a crowd of people gathered. The police was informed there. Police reached the spot and brought down the body after Panchnama action. After the incident, BSP candidate Rambai also reached the spot and took information about the incident. According to the information, Mohan's father K.K 50, resident of Magaron Kherakuan, used to do electrical work for the last 20 years. Just two days ago, on the request of the lineman, the burnt transformer of village Kanaura was replaced. M had gone to Kachhi on Saturday to start it. As soon as the electric transformer was switched on, he got electrocuted.

A.E (35) of Burujupalle in Giddalur Mandal earns his livelihood by laying dish lines. Work was being done by climbing the electricity pole to pull dish wires in Sanjeevarayunipet on Wednesday. However, he got electrocuted when the overhead wires caught fire and he fell on the transformer below and was electrocuted to death. |

Bapini (Jodhpur):Shut-down of 11 KV Electricity Feeder Kadva Pratham operating from 33/11 KV GSS Bapini District Jodhpur on phone yesterday at 11.30am! Shut-down at that time, corporation worker was working on duty at 33/11 KV GSS, Bapini. He handed over the shut-down to FRT employee, some time after that, the shut-down of same 11KV electricity feeder bitter pratham was asked on phone by contractor Shivam Enterprises employee and working on 33/11 KV GSS, Bapini Shut-down was given by corporation employee! People of both shut-downs were not entered in the book After some time the shut-down taken by the FRT employee was cleared and the corporation employee working on 33/11 KV GSS, Bapini did not not notice that the same 11 KV electricity feeder (bitter first) has also been taken shut-down by Shivam contractor and the power line is on Done, the contract worker working on DP and another contract worker assisting him died due to electrocution |

Sooo...is the Western World the only place that actually understands the concept of lock out/tag out and turning off the power from the main grid before starting work on a line or transformer?

In AP, man dies of electrocution while climbing a tree in the center of the capital. A man died from electrocution in the center of Macapá.
