Re: Eaten by Snake. Warning Dead Snake!!!
A let me Disspell a few myths and enlighten you with a few FACTS ... I`ve Worked with Snakes/reptiles etc for 20 years of my life And been Involved in Herpetology All my life_ultimately Owning a VERY well Reputed Exotic pet shop with exclusive breeding programs and the keeping feeding Breeding of 16ft+ pythons Amongst many others - it was considered one of the most reputable establishments in this field . A)This is NOT fake IN ANYWAY !!! ... I saw this and others like it Numerous times in literature/magazines of this Nature . B)It`s a -Reticulated Python- east asia the Longest Though not strictly speaking the LARGEST snake 18ft Specimens are often seen and 20+ft specimens are reported occasionaly when not killed for there skin first - The largest Title Goes to the Green Anaconda of south america Usually maxes out at 16-18 ft But would weigh double the weight that of the -Retic- . C)The Python would have Gone on to hole up under a tree root system or some hiding place to Digest the FEED ... For upto at least 6 months with A meal that SIZE in its Body - We had 16ft Burmese Pythons that went two years with out a meal after a particularly Large feed D)The snake would after such a long time have broken down the calcium of the skeleton and be Excreted As probably several fist sized like balls Remember it`s a Snake, its a long boney skeletalised animal with skin and one of such size would have used the calcium from the meal to draw the bone meal to Skelatise It self ... Nothing would be wasted after 6 months even clothing & shoes, upto a year of Digestion a meal of that size would keep this Snake comfortably Dormant in it`s reclusive Hideaway --- All snakes MOVE only for is to search food -after a meal they slow their right metabolism down rarely moving if necessary ... E) I believe this Snake was almost certainly captured and killed to allow the family, Villages to Identify a lost person so to be Buried/burned or whatever to 100% see Identify their Lost family villager member ... Any Further queries I`d be Happy to field ... This is where for once my Knowledge excels ... Next ... |
