It's interesting to note the red pair closer to the body is in a certain position, I used to find my shoes like this all the time and ever figure out why, it turns out when you take one shoe off, then turn around such as to sit on a bed, then take the other one off, usually with slip on shoes where you don't think about it, they are turned different ways. I know it sounds so obvious but I was more lazy than curious to know why I always found them that way.

So why in the world are they in that position unless its just an accident, perhaps an additional clue is that the pair further away is blood splattered, perhaps meaning they were his and the red shoes are the attackers that came off when they stooped over to make sure he's dead or something, idk
