I remember seeing a special about Mt Everest and they spoke of the first crew of people who climbed the mountain and a few died. I saw the pics before online after watching the show and looking up his name and saw the pics. I think the first pic you have looking up was one of the originals. I could be wrong.

Its amazing how that dude from the 20's looks like he could of died 6 months ago. that mountain is amazing. Tons of dead people everywhere. I think people are nuts who climb it.

1 in every 4 is not a right estimate. I think its like 1 in 20. Those natives who climb it have like 5 of them for every 1 european or american helping them climb. They never die, or rarely.
