On one of the DR threads, this custom was acted upon in very recent times. I saw several pix of the deceased propped up in the corner during his funeral at his home, while the mourners milled about. I forgot the name of the thread...anyone happen to remember which one?
Its called a Catholic wedding. The poor fucker propped up in the corner is the guy paying for the thing.
