Re: Dead in the Australian Outback

I remember this when it happened here.
EVERY Australian knows NOT to leave their vehicle when it breaks down in the desert. You have more chance of being found with your vehicle.
There are so many dumpy vehicles out there and with cattle properties being 1,000's of kilometeres around, it makes it easy to break down even on your own property.

Re: Dead in the Australian Outback

Hell yeah....... The Australian outback claims lots of under prepared & novice travelers.
If your vehicle breaks down out there you are in a world of hurt.
No phone coverage. No water. Scorching temperatures & like Redrecks said...... nothing for thousands of miles. Roads where you may not see another passing vehicle for days !
Your adventure can turn into your worse nightmare.
