Dead in the Australian Outback
Definately been there a while! ![]() They died when their Land Rover broke down as they tried to drive across the desert with little fuel and water, and no means of communication. Their badly decomposed bodies were discovered by a station worker on the remote Talawana track more than a week after they were last seen refuelling at Cotton Creek, on the edge of the desert. They had trekked 14km in 40-degree heat to try to find water, but did not realise they had walked away from the well that would have saved them. |
