Re: Dawn of the Black Hearts
parole was the word thanks :) I don't what he was trying to do but some people say he had thought of going to Trondheim and blow up Nidarosdomen(biggest church/cathedral in norway) but that is a good 6 hour drive or so from Oslo. Don't sound to realistic |

Re: Dawn of the Black Hearts
are you sure? varg's not been given parole, he's been sent to a low security prison where he was allowed to leave during the day sometimes to go see family and so forth and he then had to come back before certain curfews, he had stated that he did not return back to the prison that time because he had been attacked by other inmates who had tried to strangle him. I've never heard of any of this about him wanting to go burn down another church. It's widely known that since he went into jail he moved on from being anti christian to being a nazi douchebag. and allegedly, this is what led to him being attacked by fellow inmates at the prison, causing him to run seen bits of this, but no recollection of birds in bags under his bed, probably mixing it up with birds in bags on stage to breathe from and keep the stench of death on his breath while singing, i'll be watching this documentary some time though, I 've had it bookmarked on my youtube account since summer ;) |

Re: Dawn of the Black Hearts
Wow parasyte thanks for commenting. I have never heard of this guy or this band. Was it obvious he had issues when he was alive? Also, don't you wonder if he was murdered if when his body was found his band mates had moved the gun and knife? Wouldn't they have come into question? I couldn't help but notice from the picture that the gunshot would seems to be from the top of the head. That would be impossible with a shotgun if you were to kill yourself. Hmmm |

Re: Dawn of the Black Hearts
I know he went on to being a nazi that's why i said that it wasn't realistic, but there was some journalists making headlines on him wanting to blow up Nidarosdomen(as he had talked about it before he went to jail) though he wouldn't have interest in burning/blowing up other churches unless he is supporting Vigrid, and i doubt he is Not to sure about the parole thing though.. Believe you might be right ;) but the words "åpen anstalt" would be "low security prison" i think... You will have to excuse my english though |

Re: Dawn of the Black Hearts
I don't believe there was murder no, There were interviews with people who saw him the day before the suicide and said how excited he was about the sharp knife he just got. attached is a scan of a drawing dead did on the bottom of a letter to one of the people i knew who was in contact with him, he also was mailed a piece of the skull by euronymous after dead blew his brains out. some dead quotes... Back in 2000, I was working on getting a MayheM tribute printed and as part of it we researched the band a fair bit and one of my friends wrote an extensive multimedia section for the CD this is taken from this multimedia section about Dead's death. |

Re: Dawn of the Black Hearts
One small correction on the story. Only Euronymous found Dead and took pictures of him. The rest of the band was disturbed by how Euronymous thought it was great that Dead killed himself and necrobutcher stopped being friends with Euronymous for a couple of years according to his interview in Once Upon A Time In Norway. But anyway, best CD cover ever!

Re: Dawn of the Black Hearts
yes Necrobutcher left the band after the death of Dead, but I still have some magazine interviews from back in her 90s where it is discussed about Necrobutcher cooking the stew with Euronymous and that Hellhammer was the one who didn't want to be involved since he was a "big fan of fine cuisine" and therefore felt repulsed by what was happening with the brain stew etc etc as a result of the whole he said/she said it's a bit difficult to know what the whole truth was there are reports/statements from snorre ruch saying that euronymous and dead were fighting a lot leading up to Dead's death, but how true that is I dont know either considering Snorre was supposedly also involved with varg's plot to kill Euronymous |
