This Guy is actually named Per Yngve Ohlin or dead. He is the former vocalist of the norwegian black-metal band mayhem. He was a kinda sick. Several of his former band meights states that he actually had dead birds laying under his bed in order to smell death. He ended up committing suicide. First he tried cutting himself when that didn't work he shot himself in the head with a shotgun. In his suicide note he supposedly wrote "sorry for all the mess". When the other band members found him, the first thing they did was running down to the nearest store in order to buy a camera and take pictures. It is also said that they sent pieces of his scull to "worthy" musicians.

In interviews, fellow musicians often described Ohlin as a strange and introverted person. Fellow band member Hellhammer described Ohlin as "a very strange personality ... depressed, melancholic, and dark." Likewise, Mayhem guitarist Euronymous once stated "I honestly think Dead is mentally insane. Which other way can you describe a guy who does not eat in order to get starving wounds? Or who has a t-shirt with funeral announcements on it?"
Hellhammer also said
"Before the shows, Dead used to bury his clothes into the ground so that they could start to rot and get that "grave" scent. He was a "corpse" on a stage. Once he even asked us to bury him in the ground - he wanted his skin to become pale."

I love dead, his best work was still done with morbid in the 80s

I dont know about this having birds under his bed, but he used ot have paper bags with dead birds in the on stage so that he could inhale the stench of death and so that his voice would be the voice of death, he did indeed bury his clothes so that they would rot (pic of him in his rotten trousers attached), I have some similar trousers, though i didnt bury them but i shredded them myself.

There were various stories that he was obsessed with dying and so forth, and that he used to sometimes get drunk and the band would have to tie him up so that he couldn't kill himself and he'd be able to calm down till the next day etc. great guy though i'm sure

You can see from this picture that the items were moved in order for the photographs because you cant slit your wrists and then shoot yourself through the head with the shotgun to then end up with the knife lying on top of the shotgun.

There were many photographs taken but Per's parents got a hold of them apparently and destroyed all the pictures, barring this one.

there is also much speculation that this picture is authentic, since the guys in the band used to love doing "morbid photo shoots" where they would have gory situations.

After Per's death the Bass player left and was replaced by a guy calling himself Varg Vikerness/count grishnack. in 1993 varg vikerness stabbed the guitarist Euronymous to death (something like 30 stabs to his back and skull), over a dispute between the two guys,, Varg is currently still in jail for the Murder & several church burnings he committed.

Varg vikernes also tried to escape from prison in 2003 after another inmate apparently tried to strangle him to death, and I also attached a video from when he was captured again by the police during his escape attempt.

I used to chat a lot with Manheim the original drummer, but he left around the time that dead joined so he wasnt that familiar I guess, though he did still spend a lot of time with necrobutcher working on some other musical projects in the late 80s

Another person who played in Mayhem as a second guitarist for a short time was Snorre Ruch from a band called thorns, Snorre was investigated by police as he had apparently accompanied varg vikernes when he went to kill euronymous. Snorre had a band member in thorns called Faust who went to jail for murdering a homo in lillehammer, olympic park. A gay guy made an advance at him while they were walking somewhere, so he led the gay guy away and killed him for hitting on him as he was shocked by the advances.

He stole the car by threatening a family of 3, yesterday in the afternoon in Lyngdal, Buskerud. On dagsrevyen(Norwegian daily news) yesterday the police said that the “count” was not dangerous

As the prison system has decided to put him in an “åpen anstalt” (don’t know the English word) it is not correct to say that he is dangerous.

Varg Vikernes was in 1994 scented to 21 years in prison and 2 months ago he was transferred to “åpen soning” (don’t know the English word) in Tønsberg. The police now have to consider if he should be allowed to stay there.
