She was a low-ranking cartel member's girlfriend. Had only been with him for a few weeks, but it didn't matter. She was kidnapped on her way home from dinner out with friends and murdered, then left where she'd be found as an example to her boyfriend who went underground shortly thereafter. She wasn't really living the 'narco life,' which is what confused many of her friends when she turned up dead. She was just a 'normal' college student who decided to act out a bit by playing on the other side of the tracks while she was away at school. Cost her pretty dearly, though. She died terrified and alone in the back of that SUV. |

I never 'feel bad' for the people and situations that I post or read on this forum. Despite what some people may feel, that isn't what we're here for. We're here to look upon the face of death and realize the nearness and reality of it. This girl died very hard, pissing and shitting in her pants and begging for her life. But many others have died worse or the same. And many more will. Ours isn't to judge or sympathize. Just to watch and occasionally comment. |
