Let me apologize in advance for the quality, size, and watermarks of these photos. I did a lot of digging and couldn't come up with anything more than what I am posting here.

Last week, the body of 20 year-old Janeth Marrufo was found in the back of a 2003 Ford Explorer in Juarez, Mexico. She had been bound with electrical tape and smothered (while conscious) with a grey plastic bag, which was still around her head when she was discovered.

She was a Communications student at university and no motive has yet been determined for the crime.

Unfortunately, pictures of her body seem to be quite scarce. The only clear ones I could find don't reveal much detail aside from what she was wearing and how she colored her nails.

I'm posting the photos anyway because the crime was fresh and she doesn't really fit the usual profile for Cartel victims in Juarez. But who knows what she was into.

Suffice it to say that her last moments on her were probably terrifying and painful. At least she died with her boots on.

Hrmn, on closer inspection of some of the photos, I think the poor girl might have shit her pants, as well. :(

For some, I suppose there truly is no dignity in dying.
