She lost control of the car, due to speeding and possible snowy conditions, so the car spun 180 degrees colliding with a truck that was allowed to park there. Squashed into the dashboard what probablly felt like how a mouse gets squashed in a mouse trap  |

I still wonder why people are still driving these sardine cans kind of cars, economic reasons for sure but you have little protection in any kind of wreck...

It doesn't look like it. Probably due to the 180 spin out and rear impact. Had they hit straight on the air bags would have deployed, and possibly saved their lives. I had that happen to me once on a wet road (the 180 spin out). It was weird - looking in the mirror to see where I'm going at 50 mph. I was very lucky and didn't hit anything before getting the car back under control.

Figured speed and over correction, resulting in losing control of the car, and by “luck” rearends their own car in this way. Were they UTI?
